Skendleby Church is a Grade II Listed building. The works comprised of external and internal alterations, with the bulk of the works consisting of the re-roofing of the church utilising existing salvaged Collyweston slates.
A full access scaffold was erected for the works at high level, including temporary roofs to enable works to be carried out in all weathers. The project was completed over a 20-week period and within programme.
As the site location was remote, security measures were implemented by erecting a five-meter-high solid hoarding to the full perimeter of the site and installation of a scaffold alarm.
