Mark has been a co-owner and Managing Director since he joined the company in 2003 from national contractor Simons Construction. As a Chartered Builder, he has a wealth of experience in all sectors of the construction industry and is dedicated to improving our business and the customers' experience in all aspects of the building process.
Away from work, Mark is a family man and keen cyclist.
Mark is our Commercial Director and co owner. He is a Chartered Surveyor with a broad range of experience of all commercial aspects of the construction industry. He oversees all estimating and surveying functions of the business.
Mark is an F.A. Qualified football coach and manages a local youth team. At weekends he also enjoys cooking for friends & family, with the odd glass of wine!
Matt joined Taylor Pearson Construction in 2013 and has worked in the construction industry for 29 years. During that time he has gained valuable experience, being involved in a wide variety of contracts and different types of construction.
Away from work, Matt has been a season ticket holder at Coventry City FC for over 30 years, watching their slow demise at close hand! He is also currently building his own house which is fast becoming the longest project he has been involved in to date!
With over 30 years in on-site construction supervision, Ian possesses a wealth of experience in accurate take offs, control of on-site labour and subcontractors with full responsibility for all safety aspects of a project. He is well versed in full on-site construction management with capabilities to effectively schedule, monitor and inspect all work from project commencement to customer handover.
Josh joined the company in 2016, bringing with him over 10 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying. His competencies include estimating, buying and contract management. He works on a wide variety of contracts, from traditional schemes to partnering and design and build.
Hayley joined the company in 2015 and has now worked in the construction industry for over 13 years. She is responsible for the procurement of all materials and plant for Taylor Pearson.
When she is not at work (or travelling in her 1972 VW Campervan) Hayley likes to keep active and enjoys attending VW shows around the country.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Since starting at Taylor Pearson, Elliott has been keen to get involved with construction projects to develop and further advance his knowledge. Currently studying Quantity Surveying and Construction Commercial Management at Nottingham Trent University, Elliott maintains an avid interest in all aspects of the construction industry and aims to eventually achieve a chartered status.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Megan has joined Taylor Pearson as Trainee Quantity Surveyor and is currently studying part-time towards her Quantity Surveying and Construction Commercial Management degree. She is involved with daily communication with sub-contractors which is helping her build her knowledge and she is aiming towards project management of residential, commercial and recreational developments.
As well as spending time with family and friends, Megan enjoys watching live bands and music performances.
Pete joined the company in 2007. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991 and, after a career in accounting practice decided to change direction and moved into industry. Pete is responsible for all accounting functions of the business.
Outside work he likes to keep active and spend time with his family.
Michelle joined the company in 2005 and is now our Office Manager. With over 23 years working within the construction industry, Michelle oversees the smooth and efficient running of the office, with responsibility for personnel, training, transport and procurement processes.
Michelle is very much an outdoor person, into DIY, loves gardening, duck and turkey breeder.
